Dinamo Zagreb key man linked with surprise move to Arsenal

Arsenal are reportedly showing an interest in Dinamo Zagreb star Mislav Orsic after his stunning display against Tottenham.

He stole the headlines by scoring a hat-trick to knock Spurs out of the Europa League.

The attacker will have earned himself a few supporters among their north London rivals as a result, and now, it looks like there is a chance he could end up wearing the Arsenal shirt.

According to The Times, the Emirates outfit are now keeping a close eye on Orsic and could make a move this summer.

Mikel Arteta is considering his variants in attack after an underwhelming season from some of his stars. Nicolas Pepe and Willian have come under the most scrutiny.

The Gunners are also yet to find out if they’ll be able to keep Martin Odegaard after his loan stint from Real Madrid.

If the Norwegian returns to the Galacticos, the Gunners may need a replacement.

It is now claimed that Mislav is on their radar. The 28-year-old star has never played in the PL but has just shown that he can compete against English sides.

Even though Orsic still has four years left on his deal in Croatia, Orsic would be a relatively cheap target for Mikel Arteta.

That makes him appealing, as they won’t have a big budget if they fail to secure UCL qualification.
